主讲人简介：
Dr. Weihua An is Associate Professor (tenured) of Sociology and Quantitative Theory and Methods and a faculty member of the East Asian Studies Program and Department of Behavioral, Social and Health Education Sciences at Emory University. He received a Ph.D. in Sociology and an A.M. in Statistics from Harvard University and was a doctoral fellow and postdoc fellow at Harvard Kennedy School. Prior to joining the Emory faculty, he was Assistant Professor of Sociology and Statistics at Indiana University and a faculty member of the Indiana University Network Science Institute and Data Science Program.
Dr. Weihua An’s research advances theories and methods for network analysis and causal inference with applications to studying inequality and social policy, health, and organizations. His work has appeared in Social Forces, Social Networks, Social Science Research, Sociological Methodology, Sociological Methods and Research, Journal of Statistical Software, etc.
